Pregnancy #3: BOY or GIRL?

This was the first pregnancy that Ryan was not able to be with me at the ultrasound to find out the sex of our child. Baby #3 is still special and exciting and deserves more than an anticlimactic moment by myself with the ultrasound technician. SO, to make the reveal special and include the kids, I had the technician turn the screen away from me, print the sonogram picture revealing the sex & seal it in an envelope for our family to open together.

We took the envelope to Farrell's and gave it to our waitress. We told her to bring us a banana split with all strawberry ice cream if it was a girl, and chocolate & vanilla ice cream if it was a boy. Our hearts were pumping as we waited for her to return. She came back with a large group of waitresses who were so cute and giddy for us, telling us they'd never been a part of something like this before. She had covered the ice cream with whipped cream so we had to take a bite to see what it was, she also put a candle in it - nice touches, she deserves a raise. They wanted to sing us a song, but didn't have one for the occasion, so they sang, "Oooooh, BABY I love your ways..." Wendy blew out the candle and took the first bite...

It came back PINK! Wendy squealed & Ryan said, "I knew it!" We are all very excited. Except for Harvey, who was just excited for some ice cream and has no idea what's going on.
